Every figure here is a starting point, not a prescription. Many are genus-level estimates and are labelled as such. Where a value has never been reliably sourced, the page says Not recorded rather than offering a number nobody stands behind.

That matters more in this hobby than in most. A confident humidity percentage is what persuades a keeper to seal the ventilation, and stagnant damp air kills tarantulas faster than a dry one does. Moisture here is described as low, moderate or high, deliberately.
